Our firm has designed many religious projects including schools at Najaf and mosques in other parts
of Iraq. The most important of these was the enclosure to the Imam Ali Shrine.

Concept Design (Win Competition) had been affected by the most famous historical minaret at Samarra
2000 male plus 750 female capacity of the mosque which consist of:
main hall for praying (two floors) + multipurpose hall with it's services
+ library (book st., reading area and offices) + tow flats for mosque employees . . . etc. Tow standing minarets and open air praying yard. The mosque was oriented to Al Qibla (Meka)
Proposition for Holy Shrine of Imam Ali external wall using brick and glass tiles for facade ornamentation.
From the out look to surround narrow path ways for the mosque location, it seems impossible for using heavy construction machine for project implementation...Challenge was the main aim.
