The assign site for the project was in the heart of Basra city, Consisting of 2000 housing units. The design based on the client wish to have eight apartments (two Floors only) in each block, and to be consider that the project should consist of all other auxiliary buildings (Schools, Shopping Center, Police, Mosque, etc...)
Residential Project for Al-Maamoura Company (Al Ghazaliya Compound)
This is a compound of a vertical construction that contains around 50 residential buildings, each containing 20 apartments (of two or three bedrooms) in addition to the other requirements of an apartments. The compound also contains supplementary buildings such as schools, nurseries, market, mosque, police station, health center, service buildings etc..
Located in Najaf city on the highway leading to Karbala city, consist of 3000 housing units (villas) in different types of built-up area starting from sq.m 120, 150, 180 and 320 as well as the plot area which had sq.m 200, 250 and 400. The project bee invested by British co. (Copper Chess) jointly with Iraqi Co. (forth dimension).
The Scheme encompass all auxiliary service buildings (such as schools, Kindergartens, Mosque, Shopping Center, Police Station, Fuel Station, etc...).
Our practise has entered this broad sector through urban design as well as providing architectural plans for numerous private housing schemes, including palaces and villas, as well as buildings on a more modest scale. The common feature of the houses is their Iraqi image reflected in a modern idiom. The main features of the designs are the internal courtyard, arches and Shanasheel or Mashrabiya. Local materials are used in their construction.
